
Super Kabeli Khola "A" Hydropower Project-13.5 MW
The Super Kabeli Khola “A” Hydropower Project (SKKAHPP) is a Run-of-River (RoR) type hydropower project located in Sirijangha Rural Municipality, Wards 7 and 8 (formerly Yamphudin and Kheban VDCs) of Taplejung District, Province No. 1, Nepal. Situated approximately 253 km northeast of Kathmandu, the project utilizes the waters of Kabeli Khola, a major tributary of the Tamor River.
Strategically positioned between 27°25'45" N to 27°27'45" N latitude and 87°54'02" E to 87°55'40" E longitude, the project benefits from favorable topography and hydrology for clean energy generation.
The project is being developed by Snow Rivers Limited with a commitment to harnessing Nepal’s abundant water resources for sustainable hydropower development.
